I had the privilege of working alongside Marlene for many years, and I can say without a doubt that she was a legend in every sense of the word.
We shared countless chats which mostly turned into laughter creating memories that will be cherished forever.

MY Dearest friend Marlene. We started working together at Franklyn Hospital from about 1994. You were one of the hardest working nurses I've ever had the pleasure in working with. I always said that If I was sick you would of been my first choice to nurse me back to health. Your compassion was exemplary. Over the years & in our retirement we have met up regularly & I'm going to miss your friendship deeply. Its still so surreal to believe that your diagnosis took you so soon. Love you forever Dear Mar. Good-night God bless. Teresa M xxx
